An Intresting Day

Kristen don't feel bad about my boys kinda ditching bruce. Today I kinda got ditched too. Everyone is paired off, my two best friends have boyfriends that they want to be with and my third class that I was supposed to go out with today...well lets just say I'm still on the ship and its 630pm. I only ate once. I was late for chow and this guy asked the CS (culinary specialist, AKA cook) if he could hook me up too. He knew my name. Which was weird but I didn't care because I just needed food.

As I sat alone, remember I was late for chow so it was already over and everyone was gone, I realized how weird it is that you feel like you have millions of friends but come liberty everyone pairs off. I'm not mad at all. I do it too, people can't help that they'd rather be with their boyfriend/girlfriend than anyone else in the world. They always say mates before dates...well that's the most polite one I can think of. Well I might be wrong, but I think when you get married or fall in love it reverses. If you think about it people grow up, get married, have kids and friends kind of fade away. You have your husband and your kids plus your family to keep you busy.

It just sucks for me because we've been in Korea for two days and all I've seen is the city lights and a bunch of boats come in and out of the harbor. This is how it was when Randy was on liberty restriction. Even he has seen Korea before me. But it doesn't matter. I'm going to see it tomorrow. Randy and I are SO excited for the aquarium and they're fireworks tomorrow night!! :) I'd rather hang around him than anyone else...maybe my brembo, but no one else. It's slim pickins for normal sane people in the navy.

So I'm off to buy a small clutch from coach.com. The kind that go around your wrist so no one can steal your ID, liberty card or camera at a bar!
