Bravo Zulu

In normal people language that doesn't mean anything but in the navy world its a good thing... and I got one, my very first. In the navy when people are mad at you and want to bring you down they give you counseling chits. The purpose isn't so much to literally "council" you but more of a written documentation to hold against you (say when it comes time for liberty;) and to have it on your records. But everyone in a while you might get a good counseling chit (Bravo Zulu) and I got one this morning. He was like Miss Aker read this and sign it. I was like "what did I do now?" But I read it and I was getting it for redoing the MWR binder. Which I don't mind because I love to be in charge of that kind of stuff.

MWR (Morale, Welfare and Recreation) is basically the fun stuff that goes on in the ship and on base, like all the snowboarding trips, paintball days and tours. Its fun and I like to do it. There is a person who is in charge of it but I think he just wants it for a collateral duty on his eval to make himself look better. So when I brought it up at muster and told people whats coming up next he was like I am the MWR Representative for the division. WHATEV!! I do it better, and people like me more!! You'll be over it soon.

So that was good, it almost made my day, but it didn't. What did is that Randy called me first thing this morning!! He was like come outside. He was outside my berthing and just wanted to say hi!! It was cute that I was the first thing he thought about! <3

Weather: Bright sunny beautiful and a little windy day. :)
Ship: We are defiantly heading somewhere... going fast.
